Part 11 Settings

Odoo settings affect the entire system. Some settings are business-facing, such as document layout and language formats. Others are technical or security-related, such as attachment sharing, IP whitelist restrictions, and system parameters.

In implementation work, settings should not be treated as a miscellaneous area. Many customer-facing details, including printed quotation layout, receipt language, date format, public links, and login security, are controlled here. This part introduces several common configuration topics and explains how to use them safely.
